A Brooklyn-based yoga teacher and host of Veria TV's Rock Your Yoga, Nardini is known for founding Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, which is described in detail in her first book. The book went above my expectations. I was thinking it was going to be more . . . I don't know . . . disorganized chaos that seems to come from every other yoga book. With scattered workouts you have to flip around all the time to get a whole workout (think those 15 minute workouts you can pair with other workouts - drives me nuts), Messages just randomly all over the book with little or no explanation as to why they are even there, and vegan like food that scares most people away (including me). This is not that.

First off, I love Sadie Nardini, her live videos are some of my favorite to watch on Youtube, her carefree attitude is infectious, and she goes above and beyond to make things accessible for everyone. Her book is no exception to that. In the book:

1. There is a breakdown of the yoga poses for warming up, Salutations, and cool down that are to be paired with a daily workout that is short, keeping your practice anywhere from 30 minutes to a full blown 90 depending on how many you do and for how long - This itself is super. And it is easy to follow along with and see how they flow together. If you have every done anything by Ms. Nardini you would notice some similarities in the salutations and warm up. Read ahead so you know what you are doing - just saying.
2. There are daily meal plans that you can of course flip through and vary, but also aren't going to completely break the bank like some others I have tried before. And while there is fish on the menu - a high priced item in my region - there are plenty of substitutions for it. Also there is no crazy food. I am throwing that out there, this is not a vegan based meal plan, you can eat meat, you can drink wine, watch your portions of course, and be prepared to try some new things as well.
