Best diary...but, a screw-up continues for the second year

I used to give it five stars. Then for 2013, the month per page calendar at the beginning of the book was changed to two month per page - a single 5.5mm (3/32") high by 5 cm (2") wide line per day. At most space for three single sylable words. Useless compared to the old page per month rectangle per day. For 2013 they also added a similar cramped-space 2014 calendar at the front. Both essentially useless. No paper was saved, just added another almost useless calendar.

For 2014 they have continued this travesty. For 2014 they have added a six months per page "Holidays and Events" - two page spread. It may prove to be somewhat useful. It does not replace the page per month.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE FULL MONTH PER PAGE, RECTANGLE PER DAY CALENDAR AT THE FRONT OF THE DIARY!!!

Update: On a positive note - the paper quality has improved compared to the past few years. Bleed-through virtually gone - same fountain pen, same ink.

Sturdy, well designed - and very reasonable price.

I have used 3 of these journals, in different cover colors, for several years to keep track of various aspects of my life. Buying them online is THE way to go, roughly half the price of even discount book stores - if you can find the color you want in a store. I love the layout, love the additional info pages in the front - truly an excellent product. AND it stands up to a year's battering in my backpack!

Great Diary (as good diaries are hard to find)

A bit expensive, but well made and has all the features I want. The cheaper one-page-per day hardbound diaries I used to be able to find in various stores no longer appear to be available, so I am very happy Moleskine makes the one.

It's hard to beat Moleskine

Feels like quality and has all the things a Moleskine fan looks for. Could be a better day format as it is not a full 24 hours lacking overnight hour lines. (what about us that work at night from time to time?) Good size and will keep me on track in 2014 no problems.

This is a great daily calendar journal! I like that it keeps your place as far as what day you're on! Lots of space to write which is what I was looking for, a whole page for each day! Elastic band on the outside to keep book closed! Very nice!

Great find

Having had a difficult time locating a 365 day planner with one date per page this moleskin planner met my needs perfectly. This planner will actually be used for multiple years as a home diary. I record each day's major events, weather and visitors to our home in this planner. The next year I start over in the book and simply record the current date and day of the week as I move down the page. I searched through several book stores and many on line sites before finding this planner.
