It has the signature hard black cover, elastic closure, and back pocket, as well as places to make notes and large squares to write in your appointments.

Awesome & Unique layout!

I had been trying to figure out different apps for my iphone/ipad that combined a calendar and note-taking/to-do list area. The problem is, 1) I couldn't find any, and 2) I apparently need to write stuff down in order to remember anything. I love quite a few things about this... Mainly, the layout is *great* - I haven't found anything else that combines weekly calendar and notes/to-do area so elegantly. It's a great size to toss in my purse; big enough to allow for sufficient writing space, but not so big that I feel like I'm carrying a dictionary. Plus, the moleskine brand is a plus: great quality, minimalist design, well thought out. There are a few small things that could be added: 1) a 2-page month layout between the weekly pages of that month (i.e. 2-page august layout, then the weeks of august, then 2-page september layout). I would like to be able to have a bigger picture that I could use to notate vacation/long-term events in one place. 2) Another ribbon bookmark would be helpful. 3) I wish the pages were just a tad thicker - if I don't use the right pen, my writing is visible on the next page. It's not a big deal for me - I kind of like the "broken-in" look, but could see that some would be disappointed. But, those three things are so minor, and I love this planner so much that they're barely a blip on the radar. Enjoy!

Great planner

Like all Moleskine notebooks, this one is great quality and super helpful with various references (calendars with holidays, maps, etc.). I love the monthly and weekly cuts of the year, so you can plan at various levels. There's also a great little folder in the back to put loose notes.

the only planner i'll ever need

I love the Moleskine planners. But i always choose this style in particular because it is a nice size and nice cover. (I usually get a soft cover, but this time I thought I'd try the hard one.) The weekly notebooks have a neat combo of both spaces to write appointments, as well as space to write daily or weekly notes. I will continue to get Moleskine each year. But I only wish they would preprint U.S. holidays. Instead, they include an insert of holidays for all the developed? countries.

Favorite planner for 3 years running!

Hands down the most useful planner I've owned for 3 years in a row now. What I like best is the ruled notebook page alongside each weekly 'planner' page. It gives me plenty of space to jot down and keep track of projects and tasks that I need to fit into the week.

The Extra Large size is great and gives me plenty of room to keep track of the activities.

The only drawback I had this year was not being able to find the 12 month version, although the 18 month version works fine.

Great multipurpose

I've been using Moleskine books for over six years now and no other journal has ever come close to their quality. I use this version everyday and they always attract questions. In my experiences, they also make great gifts for colleagues.
I prefer hard cover over soft for durability and they typically last longer. I like this specific calendar format bc you can view the entire week on the left page and a whole notes page on the right. This allows you to track the week, while making notes during meetings. Highly recommend.

Perfect!

The product shipped and arrived within a few days of order. I ordered this Weekly Planner as part of a Birthdays gift to a friend who is a very busy photographer. He travels many states within the U.S. and he needed help getting organized. This was the perfect solution to accomplish that goal. It is nice and professional looking, allows plenty of room for notes and accessories. He has been using it for a couple months now and he is very happy with it! A beautiful and elegant planner. Looks good in business meetings and good for the note taker.

This has a good layout, quality paper, and nice design. I've used a Franklin Planner for years, but am a little tired of lugging around a large bulky planner that I don't use as much anymore. I still like to have some paper options; taking notes on paper is much better for me, and this works well.

Typical Moleskine with the black cover, black band to close the book, large back pocket and cloth page holder are all standard features.

Front includes personal data pages, long range planning calendar, traveler's memos, time zone info, and other useful information is in the front. The bulk of the book is made up of single page week at a glance pages on the left, with pages for taking notes on the right.

The back has extra note pages. You can also download templates from moleskine.

A good planner. It looks nice, feels nice, and is well suited for the professional who wants to look good while planning and taking notes.

Great way to keep organized!

Great way to keep organized! I used to use a weekly planner but always found myself supplementing it with post-its of lists and notes that always got lost. Now I can keep everything in one place! Also, gives you a great place to doodle. The 18 month set up is great for those of us whose lives don't revolve around the Jan-Dec time frame.
