Cute and High Quality, but Lacks Monthly Organization

I purchased this planner primarily to help me organize school work, deadlines and assignments. I have always been a big fan of Moleskine, and thought that this was too cute to pass up. It is difficult to tell from the picture, but the planner has glossy embossed French text on it, and a blue outline of the same image that appears on the paper cover in the main image. The planner includes an address book and two very cute bookmarks. The address book is a thin pamphlet with a cute design on the front, lettered tabs, but no designated spaces for name, number, etc. The pamphlet fits into the back pocket of the planner, nicely, or can be left out.

The planner includes a personal information page near the front (that goes into a lot of detail!), and then has a two year overview of 2014 and 2015. The next several pages are the monthly overviews. Unlike a traditional calendar format, weeks are not divided into blocks but into lines. Each line has roughly two inches of writing space per day, enough to write down keywords for an overview. Unfortunately, this is the only monthly overview section--in my experience, most weekly planners will have a monthly overview right before the month starts and this planner lacks that. As shown in the images, each weekday has five lines on one side of the page, the weekends split the last lined section in half, and the opposite side is a just a lined page. This will be good for to do lists, etc.

The paper is up to par with recent Moleskine standards, which aren't quite as high as they used to be it seems. So far I've written in it with two brands of porous tip pens, and there's a little bleed through but it's not very bad. The Sharpie Pen (in an aqua blue) did much better than the darker Staedtler colors I used.Read more ›

LOVE IT SO CUTE

First few pages are like infos about things that you never look for which I ended up having fun just skimming through.
This is a weekly planner
left side Sunday - Saturday and right side empty ruled note
so simple but you can make it very clean and easy to adapt for each person to use in their taste.

So here comes the month pages... there is no each month pages however
12 months are distributed as year, you have yearly ish monthly ish page you can probably label important days.

So there is a lot of room for customizing it to your own taste in organizing it as YOUR planner.
I am quite afraid about the cover being white, but since it seems coated and hard, i believe i will be able to clean it with
Clo*ax wipes :D

I LOVE IT

i love le petit prince and this planner is just so cute! we'll see throughout the year whether the white holds up to wear and dirt (maybe the embossed writing will show better if it gets a little dingy?). my only complaint is that the pages seem to be significantly thinner than my previous planners from moleskine - my pens bleed or show through.

A wonderful version of Moleskine!

I have loved the Little Prince forever and collect the book in different languages. How lovely it was to see a planner with Little Prince. I have used Moleskine planners for over 12 years now and I love them. As much as the world has gone digital I will always have my paper Moleskine agenda! This one is of great quality like all Moleskine products are. The only thing I would suggest is instead of including the flimsy paper bookmarks which I would never use but perhaps a younger person would, why not include Little Prince themed sticker sets? This agenda actually didn't come with the regular calendar stickers which I love. That was the only downfall to it.

Adorable!

Not only is this planner cute, it's also highly functional. The pictures do not do it justice. It has little cursive French handwriting of some of the words from the story in white ink across the cover, so when it's at an angle, you can see the cute little handwriting. And of course, it is a Moleskine, so it's very practical and functional. I love the idea of having a page for scheduling and a page for notes. I would order from this seller again. Item was on time and well-packaged.
