Thatcher Description
It is no exaggeration to say that Margaret Thatcher remade Britain in her own image. She deregulated industry, brought the unions to their knees, privatized state-owned enterprises, waged war to defend the Falkland Islands, and teamed up with Ronald Reagan to win the Cold War. Her courage was remarkable and her character larger than life. She was a woman who brooked no fools, and her tongue could be rapier sharp. Here is the inspiring story of Britain's first and only woman prime minister.

I saw Iron Lady over the weekend (very good, but that's not the point of this review), and wanted to learn a bit more about Thatcher. This short book was just the ticket -- it told me what I wanted to know without getting bogged down in excessive detail or politics.

This should be required reading for all politicians.
Too bad there are not more Margaret Thatchers in this world.
Excellent read and can be read in a day.
