Princess Labelmaker to the Rescue!: An Origami Yoda Book Description
At McQuarrie Middle School, the war against the FunTime Menace—aka test prep—wages on. Our heroes have one battle under their belts, and they’ve even found a surprising ally in Jabba the Puppett. But to defeat the Dark Standardized Testing Forces they’re going to need an even bigger, even more surprising ally: Principal Rabbski. But with great forces—aka the school board—pushing her from above, will the gang’s former enemy don a finger puppet and join the Rebellion—or will her transformation to Empress Rabbski, Dark Lord of the Sith, be complete?
With this timely episode in the blockbuster Origami Yoda series, Tom Angleberger demonstrates once again that his “grasp of middle-school emotions, humor and behavior is spot-on” (Scripps Howard News Service).
Praise for Princess Labelmaker to the Rescue!
"Fans will devour this satisfying and nicely realistic conclusion to the story set up in the previous volume. Characters grow, and non–Star Wars pop-culture references seep in. Readers new to the series are advised to go back to the beginning; they won’t regret it."

Beginning in 2012 Tom Angleberger started a unique series (The Origami-Yoda collection) of adolescent (8-12 yrs) books based on the classic Star Wars characters. They are each designed to help modern youth grapple with the everyday challenges and struggles necessary to become moral, productive adults. Most of these books involve problem solving skills and interactive projects, which aid the learning process through direct participation by the reader. While some editions have received higher reviewer ratings than others, all of the series is rated an average of 4-STAR or better. This is only the third book in the series that I have actually read myself and undoubtedly some are better than others… but how can anyone not appreciate the creative effort and energy that the author has undertaken in an effort to make our society a better place through positive education and important life-philosophy designed at attracting the interest of our youth?

TOP 1000 REVIEWER
My whole family loves the Origami Yoda series, and we all agree that this is the best one yet. I love the way all of the kids, with different personalities and talents, support each other and come together to tackle their problems. Parts are laugh out loud funny, other parts make you want to cheer. The funny moments make it a joy to read, but there is also a strong message about treating each other with kindness and respect, working together, and finding creative solutions to problems. I know that one reviewer, who admits he did not read the book, raised a concern about bullying--but in actuality, the kids in the book come together to take a stand against bullying time and time again.
