Well, honestly, I can't speak for the 2014 version yet but for years all the prior New Yorker Day to Day calendars have been my husband's favorite gift at Christmas. One year I forgot and it was not a good thing. So, while not pinpointed on the 2014 version, I would highly recommend these calendars to anyone who is looking for fun no matter what year it is. They deliver humor consistently.

Rather disappointing. Finishing touches such as the New Yorker logo and color borders missing and there is no bonus content on the back. I will be looking for a different item next year.
